- This self-guided deTour covers ~3.5km. This includes ~1km exploring through St. Patrick’s Island Park then walking to Studio Bell, the Glenbow Museum and terminating at the Calgary Tower. The mileage estimate does NOT include sauntering at Studio Bell and at Glenbow.
- This deTour does not start and end at the same location
- Entry fees will apply for some attractions on this deTour

Explore St Patrick's Island Park (~ 1 hour)
SMELL the freshness of the flora as you discover the various habitats within St. Patrick's Island Park.
For more information refer to our Blog.
There is no entrance fee required for the Park.

Studio Bell: National Music Centre (~ 3 hours)
Take a short 10 minute walk into the East Village to Studio Bell, home of Canada's National Music Centre, where you can HEAR and TOUCH a wide range of instruments, musical genres and artefacts from famous Canadian and international musicians.
Detour Tip: Studio Bell is CLOSED on Mondays and Tuesdays and OPEN on Wednesdays to Sundays from 10am to 5pm.
Tickets cost $18 for adults, $11 for youth (age 3-12yrs), $14 for seniors and students, and free for infants (<3yrs).

Glenbow Museum (~ 3 hours)
Take a 15 minute walk due west of Studio Bell to 8th Avenue (Stephen Avenue Walk) where you will find the Glenbow Museum. Step back in time and IMAGINE life as it was or as it could have been.
Detour tip: Invest some time at the start of your visit reviewing what exhibits are on display since exhibits change periodically. You can request this information at the ticket counter upon your arrival. This will help you prioritize what you might want to see during your visit to this diverse 4-floor downtown museum.
Entry fee is $16 for adults, $10 for youth (age 7-17yrs), $11 for seniors and students, and free for children (<7yrs). Entry to the museum is FREE on the first Thursday of every month from 5pm until 9pm.

Calgary Tower (~ 2 hours)
Take a short 5 minute walk to the Calgary Tower, your final destination, to SEE the City from a lofty vantage point 155 metres above street level while dining at the SKY360 revolving restaurant where you can savour the TASTE of a much-deserved meal.
Detour tip: Tickets cost $18 for adults (13-64yrs), $9 for children (age 4-12yrs), $16 for seniors (>64yrs), and free for infants (<4yrs)
If you reserve your table ahead of time at the SKY360 restaurant you can save on your tower entrance fee as long as each member of your party orders an entree at the Restaurant.
